Where We Work

The Equality Collective primarily engages with rural communities, where the need is most acute. Our efforts are concentrated in the Amathole District Municipality region of the Eastern Cape. Our Right to ECD ‘Make Local Government Work’ efforts are currently anchored in nine municipalities, across six provinces—Breede Valley (Western Cape); Makana, Ngqushwa and Mbhashe (Eastern Cape); uPhongolo (KwaZulu-Natal); Nkomazi (Mpumalanga); and Rustenburg (North West)—and two metropolitan municipalities: the City of Johannesburg and the City of Ekurhuleni (both Gauteng).
